Q + A

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail the RSVP card?

We’re keeping it classic! Please mail back the RSVP card included with your invitation package. It's pre-stamped, so all you need to do is fill it out and drop it in any Canada Post mailbox or post office.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by October 13th, 2025. This gives us enough time to finalize all the important details.

What’s the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venues?

Both the ceremony and reception venues are easily accessible by car, and since most of our guests are local, we recommend driving or carpooling. Detailed directions will be included with your invitation. If you're using a GPS or a ride-sharing app, just enter the venue addresses, and you should be all set!

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception venues have their own dedicated parking lots, and parking is completely free. Handicap-accessible spots are available at both locations as well.

What’s the dress code?

Cocktail attire, please! This usually means a dress, skirt, or dress pants for women, and a suit or dress pants with a blazer for men. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, as that’s reserved for the bride. Most importantly—dress to dance and have fun!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

If you were invited with a plus one, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation. Please include your guest’s name on your RSVP card so we can plan accordingly.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Absolutely! We’ve included any children in the invitations and would love for them to join us on our special day.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

We’ll be serving a buffet featuring traditional Ukrainian and German dishes. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know by indicating them in the space provided on your RSVP card—we’ll be happy to accommodate your needs.

Will there be an open or cash bar?

We will have a cash bar offering a full selection of traditional drinks, including mixed cocktails, beer, cider, wine, and coolers. Please note that guests must be 19 or older to purchase and consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Please bring any gifts with you to the wedding reception.

What’s the wedding itinerary?

The ceremony starts at 1:00 PM. Afterward, guests can visit The Firehall or other nearby spots before the reception at 4:00 PM. While there’s no formal cocktail hour, we encourage you to socialize and enjoy the time between events. The reception will end around 10:30 PM. You’ll receive a detailed schedule upon arrival.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We kindly ask all guests to be seated and settled by 12:45 PM so the ceremony can start promptly at 1:00 PM.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Nope, just our special day!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask guests not to take photos on cell phones during the ceremony or reception. We’ll have film cameras available for everyone to capture candid moments. Our professional photographer will be there to capture all the special memories.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

We kindly ask that you do not post any wedding photos on social media without prior permission. Once we get the film developed and receive photos from our photographer, we will upload them to our wedding website for all guests to view and save if they’d like.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

If there are any updates, they will be posted under the "Updates" tab on this website. Please check there regularly to stay informed.
